Q. How do I stay in touch with what's going on within the EWAGS Service Unit?
A. Attendance at the monthly Leaders' Meeting is mandatory. The meeting is the 4th Monday of every month at 7:00PM at the Presbyterian Church in Hightstown. If you cannot attend, you may send another volunteer from your troop in your place.

You should also ensure that you are a member of the EWAGS mailing list by creating an account on this site.

You should also sign up for the GSCSNJ.org e-newsletter. You can sign up here.

Q. How do I get on the EWAGS mailing list?

Q. It says I need my Girl Scout ID Number to create an account on EWAGS.org. What is that and where do I get it?
A. Your Girl Scout ID Number is assigned to you once your registration has been processed by Girl Scouts of Central and Southern New Jersey. Periodically the Service Unit Registrar will provide all leaders with a roster of their troop, which includes all of the GSID numbers for its members.

Q. I'm a brand new leader and don't have a GSID number yet, how do I create an account without one?
A. Provided you have completed your Volunteer Application and Orientation, you can contact the Service Unit Registrar and she should be able to provide you with your GSID. If you have not completed your Volunteer Application and taken Orientation then you are technically not a leader yet, and therefore cannot be added to the mailing list until you have done so.

Q. I signed up for the EWAGS mailing list and I'm not getting any emails. What should I do?
A. Log into your account and check your profile to make sure your email address is correct.

Make sure that you have signed up for the level specific as well as "EWAGS" lists.

Make sure you are NOT using an AOL email address. AOL has blacklisted our mailing list. (Click here for more help using AOL email addresses)

Check your Junk Mail folder and make sure the messages are not being marked as SPAM.

If none of the above have corrected the issue, then contact the webmaster.

Q. I want to contact another leader, how can I find out their phone number and/or email address?
A. The EWAGS roster is available on this website and lists all of the Service Team Members as well as all of the troops, their main contact person, meeting times, days, and number of members.

If the person you are looking for is not listed as the main contact for a troop, please check the Adult Contact List also available on this site. This lists all the registered Leaders, Co-Leaders and Assistant Leaders both by Last Name and Troop number.

Q. I can't go to the next leaders meeting, what should I do?
A. You should make it a priority to attend as many leaders' meetings as possible, but we all have conflicts sometimes. Your first step should be to see if anyone else in your troop can attend in your place. If not, please be sure to read the minutes of the meeting so you know what you missed. The minutes come out in email a few days after the meeting and are also posted on the EWAGS website. The minutes are not meant to replace regular attendance at meetings.

Q. I can't open any of the files available on this site, why?
A. You need Adobe Acrobat Reader to open the .pdf (Portable Document File) files. You can download this software for free. The Microsoft Excel (.xls) files require Microsoft Excel to open. If you cannot open the files, hard copies of all of these documents are available from the Girl Scouts of Central and Southern New Jersey.
